1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using ProfilePay ("Platform", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. ProfilePay is a technology product operated out of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

2. Description of Service & Legal Status

Disclaimer of Intermediary Status: ProfilePay is NOT a Payment Gateway, Payment Aggregator, Nodal Account Provider, Wallet, or Financial Institution.

ProfilePay provides a digital utility allowing professionals, creators, and businesses to generate UPI intent links and QR codes. We act solely as a technology layer that generates a link to open third-party UPI applications (like Google Pay, PhonePe, or Paytm) on a user's device. We do not touch, hold, process, route, or manage the actual funds transferred between your clients and your bank account.

3. User Obligations & Accuracy of Data

You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes. You are strictly prohibited from using ProfilePay to generate routing links for:

Illegal goods or unauthorized services.
Fraudulent activities, scams, or deceptive practices.
Any content violating local or international laws.

Accuracy of UPI ID: You are solely responsible for ensuring the UPI ID you enter into your ProfilePay settings is accurate and belongs to you. ProfilePay cannot verify the ownership of a UPI ID and holds zero liability for funds sent to an incorrect UPI ID resulting from user input error.

4. Transaction Disputes & Liability

Because ProfilePay does not process the payment, we cannot issue refunds, reverse transactions, or mediate chargebacks. Any dispute regarding a payment, product delivery, or refund is strictly between you (the receiver) and your client (the sender). ProfilePay is not liable for network failures, pending transactions, or server downtimes on the UPI network (NPCI) or the respective third-party banking apps.

5. Software Subscriptions (Pro Plan)

While we do not charge transaction fees on the payments routed to you via UPI, access to advanced software features (like custom themes and analytics) is provided via our premium subscriptions. These software subscription fees are processed securely by our billing partner (Razorpay), are billed in advance, and are subject to our Cancellation and Refund Policy.
